Dr. Hosung Choi of Piena Clinic has released Part 2 of his hands-on demonstration featuring the full treatment process and clinical know-how behind the Re2WAVE procedure. This installment covers practical Dermashine PRO techniques, treatment sequence, key precautions, area-specific tips, and Dr. Choi’s own treatment philosophy.The procedure was performed using the Dermashine PRO with a 32G needle, and Dr. Choi emphasized the importance of thorough pre-treatment disinfection. Given the nature of needling-based procedures, meticulous sterilization is essential to prevent inflammation. The session began on the right cheek and then gradually progressed to more sensitive areas, including the butterfly area, under the eyes, and the forehead. Dr. Choi noted that “starting from the less sensitive outer areas and moving inward increases patient comfort.” The needle depth was set to approximately 0.75 mm, which minimized pain and product loss.
The video clearly demonstrates that the procedure is gentle enough to be performed without the need for numbing cream, offering very short downtime and high patient comfort.Dr. Choi also shared that Re2WAVE is one of his personal favorite treatments, highlighting that it is a low-burden solution for both patients and practitioners.
